About my practice
I have been practicing traditional and alternative osteopathy exclusively for 20 years. I brought from France and Europe a professional patient centered approach that is exhaustive and result oriented. I enriched it thanks to north american teachers to be trauma informed and even more inclusive to complex problematics and disabilities.

Osteopathy originated in the USA, where it is now practiced by osteopathic physicians. When the practice came to Europe through the UK and France (and later, Canada), it had been taught as a manual practice. The result is a manual, non-medical approach that has a high level of precision and based on extensive knowledge of the body and its functioning.

I include osteo-articular, fascial, visceral and cranio-sacral approaches to every osteopathic treatment.

Whether there were some developmental stressors and challenges or exceptional disruptive events, I am aware of how that affects your capacity for healing

I know how to help your nervous system settle and regulate. I have trained in Transforming Touch and Presence, and Somatic Resilience and Regulation with Steve Terrelll and Kathy Kain
Bilingual

Flower therapy
My understanding of emotional and personality particularities is informed and supported by flower therapy, using Bach and Californian (FES) essences.
Teaching
I have taught palpation, visceral techniques, trauma and shock osteopathic approach in the past.
Mentoring
I am available to mentor and advise professionals on Osteopathy, Nervous system regulation, Flower Essence therapy, developmental trauma and neurodivergence support strategies

Do you work with children?
Yes, I have both training and clinical experience in working with children, it has been an early interest in my practice. This includes newborns, as well as children with disabilities.

Is there any coverage from provincial or extended healthcare?
The BC provincial healthcare plan (MSP) doesn't includes osteopathic care by non-physicians (osteopathic practitioners). Extended healthcare plans now frequently include our practice. See if you have "Osteopathy" mentioned in your plan, or call your broker to verify. I am affiliated with OsteopathyBC / SPMPO. There is no direct billing possible with insurances.
